JOURNAL 6: 2/22/2011

Cassius: Have you had enough time to think about what I have said? Are you able to see the dangers that will occur if we allow Caesar to rise to power? If we allow him to become like a God?

Brutus: I have made up my mind. Caesar must be no more. I have to do this not out of hatred, but in order to preserve the Roman Republic and secure a better future for us.

Cassius: What in your back pocket?

Brutus: Its nothing. Just a letter of encouragement towards striking back against the unjust.

Cassius: Is this what encouraged you to join us?

Brutus: No, I have decided to stop this uprising all on my own. This letter was discovered moments after I made up mind to stop Caesar.

Cassius: I see. Well then, Let us pray to the Gods that we will be able to save the city of Rome from Caesar.

JOURNAL 5: 2/18/2011

I would most likely just laugh... or maybe be a little disturbed at the fact said person was dreaming about me. There's no way I could take said person seriously if they told me about a dream they had that foretold danger in my future.

JOURNAL 4: 2/17/2011

Caesar Refuses CrownYesterday, The Lupercal Festivals took place. Julius Caesar was offered the crown of Rome by Marc Antony. He refused the crown 3 times, then fainted. Reasons for him fainting are unknown. When asked what their thought of Caesar fainting was, one bystander replied, "I've heard he has a falling sickness." and another said, "I'm almost positive he was faking." Whether he was faking or truly is ill, The people still love and support Caesar.

JOURNAL 3: 2/16/2011

-I think Caesar's facebook status would be something like, "Not feeling too well d:" because he 'fainted' earlier, and posting it on Facebook would make it more believeable.

-I think Cassius' would be, "HAHAHA, idiot." because he pretty much has Brutus convinced he needs to protect Rome and revolt against Caesar.

-Brutus' would probably be something like, "Decisions, decisions. Why is life so complicated!?" since he still seems a bit conflicted as to whether he should listen to what Cassius is saying and revolt against Caesar or just leave it alone.

JOURNAL 2: 2/15/2011

I do believe we control our fates for the most part. There are many things we can do to determine where we are headed. We determine things like the type of jobs we have by how deticated we are to our schoolwork and our decisions on whether or not to go to college and we also determine the grades we recieve by how much work we put into our homework. There are things, though, that can happen unplanned that could completely change everything. Things like a parent losing a job or a loss of a family member can affect a lot of things you do and you don't plan on things like that happening. Unexpected things like that can change our fate. For the most part, though, I believe we control our own fate.

JOURNAL 1: 2/14/2011

I think an ideal public leader needs to be intelligent because if we do not have an educated leader, how can they educate & properly lead us? I also think that a public leader needs to LEAD, not dictate or rule over us. An ideal public leader should be someone who can be trusted, but not weak. A public leader should use their power to help everyone and do what is right for everyone. A leader should not take advantage of the power their given. A leader should not be feared, but trusted and loved; But not taken advantage of or pushed over easily.

Poem |:

Love is like waiting for rain in a drought-
useless to wait for and always disappointing.
Love is like a lazy lilac
drooping and dying in winter
love is evil
grabbing you by the heart
then ripping it out with its tight grip.
