Journal 11:

No, I don't think Brutus is the noblest Roman. He committed suicide to escape the reality he would be facing when Marc Antony took over Rome. He also couldn't even put the sword through himself, he had another hold it as he ran into it. He couldn't even do the deed himself. There are no reasons besides that saying he wasn't noble, but that itself a pretty big statement.

Journal 10:

I don't think Brutus will commit suicide. Although Cassius has already commited suicide and it will be a tough battle, I think he will stick it out till the end. He always speaks of doing what is best for Rome and being honorable, and he clearly thinks this war is the right thing to do, so he will probably just stick it out.

Journal 9:

Brutus' speech would have convinced the people that what he did was justified if it weren't for Antony speaking after him. the people were easily convinced and Antony went against his word and spoke poorly of the Conspirators. Brutus didn't stay, though, when Antony spoke, so he could not defend himself.

JOURNAL 8:

I stayed up one night on Facebook till about 6. It was a Tuesday so I had school the next day. My mom woke up around the time I logged off Facebook and first decided to go to sleep. She came into the living room where I had been chilling and started yelling about how I have an un-natural and unusual sleep pattern and it needed to change. I made her feel bad by telling her I couldn't sleep because I felt sick and that she always assumes things without even asking me. I used Pathos here. I made my mom feel bad (emotion) about assuming things. The guilt always works with parents.

JOURNAL 7: 3/2/2011

I think that Caesar should have died. As long as his death was for the sake of Rome, not someone else's personal gain, I think that it's okay. If Caesar was a controlling dictator, of course he should have died. I think that Caesar is the most responsible for his death. Many people tried to warn him of what was to come. Caesar chose not to listen to the people telling him about the plans and schemes to kill him. He could have avoided all of this by not trusting Brutus, Cassius, and the rest of the conspirators. The conspirators may have come up with the plan, but it was a fair battle considering Caesar was forewarned of what could happen. In conclusion, Caesar is stupid. He should have listened to the people looking out for his best interest, but no. He didn't because he's stupid.
