No, I don't think Brutus is the noblest Roman. He committed suicide to escape the reality he would be facing when Marc Antony took over Rome. He also couldn't even put the sword through himself, he had another hold it as he ran into it. He couldn't even do the deed himself. There are no reasons besides that saying he wasn't noble, but that itself a pretty big statement.
